WristTale End User License Agreement (EULA)

Effective Date: September 20, 2026

This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you (“User” or “You”) and WristTale's operator, 武汉牛拉松科技有限公司 (“Developer,” “We,” or “Us”), governing your use of the WristTale mobile application (the “App”).

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

1. Acknowledgment

You and the Developer acknowledge that this Agreement is concluded between you and the Developer only, and not with Apple Inc. (“Apple”). The Developer, not Apple, is solely responsible for the App and the content thereof.

2. Scope of License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use on any Apple-branded products that you own or control, and as permitted by the Usage Rules set forth in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

The App is distributed through both the Apple App Store and Google Play. Your use of the iOS version is also subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions; your use of the Android version is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. Provisions in this Agreement that refer to Apple apply to the iOS version only.

3. Supported Platforms

Depending on version and distribution channel, WristTale supports the platform combinations listed below:

* Wear OS is available only in builds and distribution channels where we have explicitly enabled it, and only on the Android versions and channels so enabled. It is not available in every release, it does not work with an iPhone, and the watch brand alone (for example Samsung, Xiaomi, or OPPO) does not tell you whether a watch is compatible. Where it is provided, it depends on Google Play services on the phone and watch, and the phone and watch apps must use the same package name and signing certificate.

• Apple Watch requires an iPhone. Apple Watch pairs with iPhone only, so the Android build of WristTale does not support Apple Watch and cannot support it.
• Capabilities differ by platform. Automatic page turning on Apple Watch requires watchOS 11 or later. The network relay described in Section 5 applies to Garmin transfers only. Apple Watch uses Apple's WatchConnectivity; Wear OS uses Google Wear OS Data Layer and has a 12 MiB limit per transfer.
• Requirements per platform. Garmin: install the WristTale watch app from the Connect IQ store and keep Garmin Connect Mobile paired with your watch. Apple Watch: install the iPhone app, which ships with its watch app, and keep the iPhone and watch paired. Wear OS: where this feature is provided, install and open WristTale at least once on a compatible watch and keep it paired with the Android phone; it appears as a target only after the watch app advertises the WristTale capability.

4. Paid Service Terms (WristTale Pro)

WristTale offers a "Pro" service that unlocks unlimited book syncing and advanced settings. The product, price, duration, and payment channel shown on the purchase screen at the time of purchase govern.

4.1 Apple App Store / Google Play Builds

• Payment is settled through the applicable app-store account after confirmation.
• Monthly or annual auto-renewing products continue until you cancel them as required by the store before the current period ends. Renewal price and charge timing are shown by the store.
• Lifetime access, where offered, is a one-time purchase.
• You can manage, cancel, or restore purchases in the corresponding store account. Refunds follow store rules and applicable law.

4.2 Mainland China Android Build

• Payment is completed through the Alipay or WeChat channel you affirmatively choose. We do not store bank-card numbers or payment passwords.
• Monthly and annual plans are fixed-term services and do not renew or charge automatically. Lifetime access is a one-time purchase. Continuing after a fixed term requires another purchase you initiate.
• Benefits are tied to the Alipay or WeChat account signed in at purchase. Sign in to the same account on a new device to restore benefits confirmed by the server.
• For refund help, contact [email protected]. We process requests under applicable law, the service already delivered, and payment-channel rules. Refunded benefits are revoked.
• Signing out clears only the local session and is not account deletion. To request account deletion, email [email protected]. Account deletion does not automatically issue a refund and may make purchased benefits unrecoverable.

5. Network Relay Service and Future Charges

The App may provide a network relay feature to temporarily transfer User-selected content from a phone to compatible devices through relay servers.

Importing books does not upload them. The relay is used for Garmin transfers only, and only when you start it: the selected chapters are then temporarily uploaded to our relay servers anonymously, and are deleted automatically afterwards. For the relay we use servers from Cloudflare and Tencent Cloud in multiple locations worldwide. A transfer becomes inaccessible one hour after it is created, and the stored content is deleted automatically, so physical removal may take a little longer. See the Privacy Policy for details.

This feature continuously consumes server bandwidth, storage, computing, and operational resources.

The network relay is currently offered free of charge, but this does not mean it will always be free.

We reserve the right to charge for the network relay in the future, set free allowances or usage limits, or include it in specified subscription plans.

If charges are introduced, we will disclose the applicable prices and conditions through the App, our website, or another reasonable method before they take effect.

You will not be charged for the network relay solely because of this clause unless you affirmatively select or agree to the applicable paid offering.

6. User Content

You acknowledge that the App allows you to import content (e.g., book files). You are solely responsible for the content you import. You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary licenses, rights, consents, and permissions to use and authorize the use of such content. The Developer does not monitor user-imported content and assumes no responsibility for it.

7. Maintenance and Support

The Developer is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support services with respect to the App as specified in this Agreement or as required under applicable law. You and the Developer acknowledge that Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to the App.

8. Warranty and Disclaimer

The App is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer disclaims all warranties, express or implied. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the App to you. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the App.

9. Product Claims

You and the Developer acknowledge that the Developer, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims of the User or any third party relating to the App or the User’s possession and/or use of the App, including, but not limited to: (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.

10. Intellectual Property Rights

You and the Developer acknowledge that, in the event of any third-party claim that the App or your possession and use of the App infringes that third party’s intellectual property rights, the Developer, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any such intellectual property infringement claim.

11. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall WristTale be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

12. Legal Compliance

You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a “terrorist supporting” country; and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the App following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
